From Page to Screen with Koby Adom and Alan Warner
TIME & LOCATION
ABOUT THE EVENT
How written word and moving image speak to each other is the focus of this event about literary adaptations in cinema. Featuring Koby Adom, director of acclaimed BBC drama Noughts + Crosses, adapted from a series of novels by Malorie Blackman, and Scottish writer Alan Warner, whose acclaimed novels Morvern Callar and The Sopranos have been adapted for screen and stage, the panel discussion will examine where production teams have worked to stay true to the source material, or altered it for cinematic reasons.
