Tuesday 21st September 7.30 - 8.30pm BST (Online)

Alison McCall of AWA delves not only into Aberdeen's dramatic witch trials and executions, but the real people behind the stories.

Witches were a fact of life in C16th and C17th Aberdeen. Witchcraft was entwined with everyday living. This walk will delve not only into Aberdeen's dramatic witch trials and executions, but the real people behind the stories. Tales will range from quarrelsome neighbours to witches dancing at Hallowe'en.

Aberdeen Women’s Alliance is a forum promoting and supporting equality for women who live and work in Aberdeen. The Alliance's walking tours have been a popular staple feature of University of Aberdeen's May Festival and now WayWORD.
